Choosing a wooden countertop

Wood countertop is unrivaled for its warmth and beauty. Some cooks love to see stain ans scratches on the countertop after constant usage.

However, wood also expands and contracts, depending on environmental conditions. It will even warp if exposed to water. ( wipe away any water on your countertop immediately).
