How to brighten up your bathroom?

There is no hard and fast rules for brightening your bathroom and making it looks comfortable.

First, think of the bathroom as a backdrop. The colour of the bathroom will reflect on all its users’ skin when they look in the mirror.

Hence, warm colours such as creams, pinks and red tones are good in bathrooms where people need to dress up in the morning. Cool colours like green and blue would be better served for powder rooms. Many people find watery tones reflect off the skin and detract from their appearance.

Also, try to use bold colours in a subtle way. You can layer four or five colours for a soft and modern effect. Softer midtones can mute strong tines for a more subtle effect.

Layering colours or using glazing products can enlarge the feel of a small bathroom. I will also soften the impact of the wall surface and give an airy and lighjt effect.

If you are adventurous, you can try to be more creative by giving your bathroom design a touch of playfulness.
