Framed cabinet always remain us of traditional house furnishing. They have a full frame across the face of the cabinet box which may be shown between closed doors. This method of construction secures adjacent cabinets and strengthens wider cabinet boxes with a center rail.
Normally, capenters will design the cabinet doors with ornaments on raised or recessed panels. The panels can be traimmed or framed or even a glass framed panel.
Frameless cabinets are built without a face frame and is clean and contemporary looking. A frameless cabinets had no trim or molding as the design is very simple and looks modern. The elevation of the frameless cabinet is usually covered by close fitting doors with hidden hinges and no ornamentation.
When deciding between a framed or frameless cabinets, you will have to consider the overall feeling of the room you wish to place the cabinet. If you are looking at a modern theme, then choose the frameless cabinets. It looks sleeker and lighter.
