Are you having too many windows in your home? Do you see it as an advantage or disadvantage? Well, it is an advantage if you consider that the room will be bathed in natural light for most of the day which is very wonderful.

But the challenge is how do we fit in the furniture and how to best use the space? Ideally, the windows should not be covered up by furniture or fittings because we do not want to restrict the any light source from entering the room.

Secondly, placing furniture near the window will affect the visual balance of the room as the windows are architectural features in their own rights.

So if there is too many windows in your home, do consider arranging the furniture either in the center of the room, away from windows or between window opening. In fact, arranging furniture between windows can add to the charm of the room ,especially if your furniture can match the architectural feature of the windows.
