 What are Vertical louvre blinds?

Vertical louvre blinds are suspend vertically from a track and linked at the bottom by a chain. They can be made of wood or synthetic flexible strips. Most often, they are made of stiffened strips of fabric, often with a textured weave and usually 9-13cm wide. Standing from floor to ceiling, they are useful as curtains and for shielding large picture windows or patio doors. The amount of light that they allowed is controlled by adjusting the angle of the louvres.

Why do we choose blinds over curtains?

The biggest advantage blinds have over curtains is that they are usually less expensive and simpler to install. They bring more elegance to a room and enlarge the space more than curtains. They can also be fixed in two separate ways, either within the window’s reveals or outside the frame.
