If you are tiling a recessed window but cannot work out how to achieve a neat finish, you should try and apply and combine the principles you have used for measuring the last tiles and the internal and external corners.
Always try to tile them in a row to within a tile’ s range of the corner of the window sill and mark the angle which will need to be cut out. Next, tile the sill section, and bring the front edge of the closet line of the tiles out to flush with the face of the tiled wall as though it is the external corner.
Finally, tile the walls of the recess, the junction of the sill and the wall which is acting as the internal corner.
