There are a great deal of paints designed for specific surfaces. For example, radiator enamel is formulated to maintain its whiteness where ordinary solvent based paint would crack and turn yellow with the heart of a radiator.
If you are looking for special paints designed to spruce up domestic kitchen appliances like refrigerators and dishwashers, to cover melamine and acrylic surfaces like kitchen units .
If you need to protect surafces from rust, use rust-resistance paint which is an enamel-formulated paint which inhibits the penetration of rust. Usually, no primer or undercoat is required and the paint is available in smooth or ‘hammered’ finish.
