Here are some important laundry tips to make sure you get the best out of your washer and keep your machine working efficiently.

-always checking the pockets in all the clothes that go through your machine. Look out for coins, loose change or small items. These can serious damage to the drum of the washing machine.

-Pens  which are left in the clothings can be a nightmare. Having to remove ink stains is a tedious exercise. Also make sure hankies do not go through the wash as they can cause problems when they break up into little bits. It may also indicate that you have to start the wash all over again.

-also never add too much detergent as they can leave a stain on your laundry. Always use the neccessary amount.

-it is also advisable not to overload your machine. Overloaded machines are rougher on the clothes and the washer drum will be given unnecessary strain.

- also wipe your washing machine thoroughly when you’ve used. Always wipe the seal around the door.
