The look you create in your kitchen is largely influenced by the cabinetry you select. Finding a personal style that suits you and how you will use your new kitchen is similar to shopping for furniture.
Colour of your wood cabinetry is important. Accents in one or more hues are paired with natural wood tones. White-painted cabinets usually take on a more warmer glow with tinted shades. Vintage finishes such as translucent colour glazes are gaining popularity today. Likewise, wire brushing technique and rubbed -through color add delight to your kitchen through excellent craftmanship.
If you are looking for a contemporary kitchen, I would suggest that you use earthier neutral shades, less off whites and wood finishes.
